Jessica Kingpetcharat-Bittner has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Jessica began their career as a Legal Assistant at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the City Manager's Office at the City of Austin until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the Club Operations Manager and Director of Group Exercise at Pure Austin Fitness.
In 2006, Jessica returned to the City of Austin and held various roles. Jessica started as a Program Coordinator, providing administrative support to a division staff. In 2007, they became a Principal Planner, overseeing a team responsible for zoning review and representing the city at meetings. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Sustainability Administrator, managing the implementation of the City of Austin's Zero Waste Plan. Following this role, Jessica became the Strategic Initiatives Division Manager, responsible for implementing the Zero Waste Plan and developing the Solid Waste Service Department's Master Plan. Most recently, they are the Deputy Director and Chief Communications Director, holding senior positions in the organization's communication and strategic initiatives.
Throughout their career, Jessica has demonstrated expertise in management, administration, and environmental sustainability.
Jessica Kingpetcharat-Bittner received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Trinity University in the years 1994-1998. Jessica then went on to complete their Master's degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Local Government and Environment from The University of Texas at Austin between 2000-2002.
