Linzy Jackson III

Linzy Jackson III is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service, currently serving as the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture, and Entertainment (MOACE) in the City of Baltimore since April 2008. In this role, Linzy manages community and corporate partnerships while coordinating support for large-scale city events. Previous positions include Special Assistant to the City Administrator, where responsibilities included facilitating Board of Estimates meetings and compiling citywide reports, and Director of the Community Engagement Unit, focusing on enhancing collaborative frameworks among various stakeholders. Linzy's early career involved roles such as Liaison Officer and Youth & Education Specialist, where significant contributions were made in community communications and youth initiatives. Additionally, Linzy served as a Maryland YMCA Youth & Government Advisor, fostering civic engagement among high school students. Linzy holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Coppin State University and a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from Morgan State University.
