Danette L B. currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Division of Human Development & Services and the Ryan White Part A Program Administrator for the City/Parish of Baton Rouge, beginning this role in June 2019. Prior to this, Danette held the position of Linkage and Adherence Supervisor in the STD/HIV Program at the Louisiana Department of Health from December 2018 to June 2019. Danette's extensive experience also includes over nine years at Volunteers of America in various roles, including Division Director of Community Services and Program Director of HIV/AIDS Services. Danette co-chaired the Black Treatment Advocacy Network Louisiana from January 2012 to February 2017 and worked as a Sexual Health Peer Educator for the SiHLE Project at Southern University. Previous experience includes a supervisory role at Convergys Corporation. Danette holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southern University and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Administration, Planning, and Organization from Southern University at New Orleans.
