Chris White

Chris White serves as the City Administrator for the City of Beacon since January 2021, bringing significant experience from previous roles, including Deputy Director of Planning for the County of Ulster from September 2012 to January 2021 and various positions within the Office of Congressman Maurice Hinchey, where responsibilities included District Representative and Deputy District Representative from September 2001 to September 2012. An environmental background is demonstrated through the role of Environmental Associate at Hudson River Sloop Clearwater from 2000 to 2001 and as a self-employed Environmental Educator/Outdoor Adventure Consultant from 1993 to 1999. A brief political career included serving as City Councilman for the City of Beacon from January 1996 to December 1997, representing the Third Ward. Chris White holds a Master of Public Administration from Rockefeller College at SUNY Albany and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from New York University.
