Nate Smith

Nate Smith, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Banning since November 2021. In addition, Nate holds the position of Planning Commissioner for the City of Beaumont, CA since December 2010. Prior to these roles, Nate worked at Rick Engineering Company from June 2003 to November 2021 as an Associate, focusing on both preliminary and final engineering for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Nate earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2000 and 2005.
