Torrie Lozano's work experience begins in 2001 with the County of Los Angeles, Department of Children & Family Services, where they worked as a Typist Clerk until 2005. Later in 2005, they joined the County of Los Angeles, Department of Auditor-Controller as an Accountant-Auditor and was subsequently promoted to the role of Intermediate Accountant-Auditor in 2008 and Senior Accountant-Auditor in 2014. In 2023, Torrie Lozano joined the City of Fontana as a Parks, Community & Human Services Commissioner, where they are responsible for promoting and stimulating interest in various services that improve the health and quality of life for residents and advising the city council and staff on citizen needs and concerns.
Torrie Lozano attended California State University, Los Angeles from 2002 to 2004, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2001, they attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and took Business Administration courses, but did not earn a degree. During the same time period, they also attended Chaffey College and studied General Education in Business Studies, but did not obtain a degree there either.
