Angela Wright

Angela Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years. Angela began their career as an Administrative Assistant at DuPont in 1997 before transitioning to a Sales Associate role at RadioShack in 1998. In 2002, they joined Sam Houston State University as a Network Technician, eventually moving up to the positions of Network Analyst and Information Resources Project Coordinator. Following their time at the university, Angela worked as the Network Administration Program Director at Vista College. Angela then held positions at Network Centric Solutions LLC and Scallon Controls, Inc, where they served as a Project Coordinator and provided IT support and project management services. Most recently, Angela has been employed at the City of Beaumont, where they have held various roles including Chief Technology Officer and Information Technology Division Manager.

Angela Wright obtained a MEd degree in Curriculum & Instruction: MIS/Business from Sam Houston State University from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a BBA degree in Management Information Systems from the same university, studying from 2002 to 2003. Angela also holds an AAS degree in Network Administration from Victoria College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degrees, Angela Wright has a certification as a Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Splicing and Troubleshooting from the Fiber Optic Association.
