Jes Prince, MPA, Broker, AICP, currently serves as the Community Development & Housing Division Manager for the City of Beaumont, a position held since January 2023. As a Managing Partner and Broker at PH&I, LLC since August 2020, Jes also contributes as a Member of the Board of Directors for This Is Project Texas and serves as the Founder of Principality Consulting. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at GCI until January 2023, and briefly holding the role of Chief Deputy County Clerk at Jefferson County, Texas, in 2021. Jes's background also features work in compliance for the City of Beaumont, a Broker Associate position at Agate Properties LLC, and responsibilities as an Economic Resiliency Planner for the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission. Jes holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Urban Planning from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with minors in Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Family/Consumer Science from Lamar University.

The City of Beaumont is located in Southeast Texas, approximately 85 miles east of Houston. The city's population is 118,000. Beaumont is a full-service municipality, and serves as the county seat for Jefferson County. Beaumont operates under a council-manager system of government, in which the elected, part-time council appoints a city manager, who acts as the chief executive officer for city affairs. The City Council meets every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, located on the 1st floor of City Hall, 801 Main Street. Council member offices are located on the 3rd floor of City Hall in Suite 300. Meetings are televised on Time Warner Cable Channel 4 Wednesday through Sunday at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
