TaVares Limbrick currently serves as a Construction Inspector for the City of Beaumont since June 2023. Previously, TaVares held the position of HSE Regional Safety Manager at Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. from March 2019 to June 2023. Educationally, TaVares is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental at Columbia Southern University, expected to complete in June 2025, following an Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from the same institution, completed in June 2023. Additionally, TaVares participated in training with Associated Builders and Contractors from September 2019 to March 2020.

The City of Beaumont is located in Southeast Texas, approximately 85 miles east of Houston. The city's population is 118,000. Beaumont is a full-service municipality, and serves as the county seat for Jefferson County. Beaumont operates under a council-manager system of government, in which the elected, part-time council appoints a city manager, who acts as the chief executive officer for city affairs. The City Council meets every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, located on the 1st floor of City Hall, 801 Main Street. Council member offices are located on the 3rd floor of City Hall in Suite 300. Meetings are televised on Time Warner Cable Channel 4 Wednesday through Sunday at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
