Travel is easy for Becker residents, as the City is located approximately 50 minutes of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport and 20 minutes from the St. Cloud Regional Airport. Properties located in the industrial park have potential to access the BNSF rail line from a city-owned rail spur and abundant power from Xcel Energy's "Sherco" plant. Becker has access to a robust labor market of more than 98,000 people living within a 20-mile radius. Numerous higher education institutions, including St. Cloud State University, Anoka-Ramsey Community College and North Hennepin Community College, are located within a short commute. ​ ​The City of Becker takes pride in the collaborative efforts between the City and local businesses.
