Caryn Riggs

Caryn Riggs is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in municipal financial management. Currently serving as Assistant City Manager and Chief Financial Officer for the City of Bedford, TX since March 2022, Caryn has previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer in the City of Grand Prairie from August 2021 to March 2022. Prior positions include Director of Financial Services for the Town of Flower Mound, Assistant Director of Finance and Controller for the City of Corinth, and various accounting roles at Sally Beauty and DATCU Credit Union. Caryn began a career in finance as a Tax Analyst and Permit Technician at the City of Denton. Academically, Caryn holds an MBA in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting, both from Texas Woman's University.
