Brigitte Shearer

Brigitte Shearer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and operations across various sectors. Currently serving as the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Belmont, CA since 2018, Brigitte oversees a community center with an annual budget of $3 million and a team of over 80 employees. Prior to this role, Brigitte was the General Manager for Highlands Recreation District, where management of daily operations, vendor partnerships, and community programs was key. Previous positions include Business Manager roles at Pierce & Shearer, LLP and Shearer Law Offices, where financial management and human resources were central responsibilities. Brigitte's career began in academia as the Operational Director at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.
