Ryan Oster, PE / PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ryan started their career in 2002 as an Active Duty Combat Engineer in the US Army, serving until 2006. During this time, they also held the position of Operations and Plans Officer in the US Army Reserves.

In 2006, Ryan joined David Evans and Associates, Inc. as a Designer, where they worked until 2010.

From 2010 onwards, Ryan has been associated with the City of Bend, where they have held various roles. Ryan began as a Project Engineer and worked their way up to Principal Engineer. From March 2016 to October 2019, they served as the City Engineer, overseeing engineering projects and infrastructure planning. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering and Infrastructure Planning / City Engineer.

Throughout their professional journey, Ryan has demonstrated their expertise as a Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Ryan Oster, PE / PMP completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Civil Engineering at the University of Portland from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they also hold the certifications of PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI (Project Management Institute) and Professional Engineer (OR/WA) from the State Boards.
