Tyler Overstreet

Tyler Overstreet, AICP, is the Planning and Community Development Director for the City of Bentonville, a position held since October 2017, following roles as Planning Services Manager and Senior Planner. Overstreet has extensive experience in managing current planning processes, development reviews, and code enforcement, while also representing the city in public outreach and education initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Planner for the City of Joplin from August 2014 to October 2017, where Overstreet coordinated community improvement efforts, reviewed zoning compliance for developments, and contributed to significant HUD plans. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Missouri Southern State University and a Master of Public Administration along with a Graduate Certificate in Community Planning from the University of Illinois Springfield.
