Alicia Abramson

Alicia Abramson serves as the Manager of Information Technology at Berkeley Public Library, overseeing the technology infrastructure and operations for a medium-sized urban library system with multiple locations and over 140 staff members. With extensive experience in library and information technology, Alicia's previous roles include managing content services at ProQuest Dialog, implementing a Content Management System at Pearson Education, and directing IT support at California State University Sacramento. Alicia also held the position of Head of Library Systems at American University and completed a fellowship at the National Library of Medicine, where a relational database project was developed. Alicia holds a B.A. in Peace & Conflict Studies and an MLIS from the University of California, Berkeley.
