Elizabeth Redman Cleveland has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elizabeth'smost recent position was as Chief Strategist of Sustainable Growth at the City of Berkeley, where they led the Berkeley Startup Cluster partnership and advised on the Alameda County Green Business Program. Prior to that, they served as the Global Lead for Sustainable Customer Solutions at IHS Markit, where they developed research products and consulting solutions for public and private sector clients. Elizabeth also founded Cross Sector Strategies, a consulting firm specializing in policy, workforce, and economic development. Elizabeth has a background in economics and country risk analysis, having worked as a Senior Consultant at IHS Global Insight. Elizabeth has also held roles in workforce policy and research consulting at Efficiency First and as a Consultant for the East Bay Green Corridor Partnership & Oakland Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Elizabeth has experience in climate initiatives coordination at Future 500 and as a Senior Associate at the Economic Competitiveness Group. Elizabeth started their career as a Policy and Cluster Strategy Consultant at the Oregon Business Council and as a Research Assistant at the Argentinean Institute of Corporate Social Responsibility (IARSE).

Elizabeth Redman Cleveland's education history starts in 2000 when they enrolled at Pomona College. Elizabeth completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Analysis/Economics in 2004.
