Rosie Jung

Rosie Jung has extensive experience in law enforcement and personnel training, currently serving as the Personnel and Training Sergeant for the City of Berkeley since December 2002. In addition to this role, Rosie has been a Background Investigator, Negotiator for the Special Response Team, Field Training Officer, and Personnel and Training Officer at the Berkeley Police Department since June 2012. Prior roles include Sergeant in the Recruitment and Retention Unit and Jail Sergeant from September 2017 to October 2020, as well as Domestic Violence Detective from January 2006 to January 2010. Prior to a career in law enforcement, Rosie worked in graphics at CMP Media from January 2000 to June 2002. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Design from San Diego State University, completed between 1990 and 1995.
