Sarah Lana

Sarah Lana, CEM, has extensive experience in emergency management, currently serving as the Emergency Services Manager for the City of Berkeley since July 2011. Previous roles include Emergency Services Coordinator and Project Manager at CirclePoint where responsibilities encompassed managing emergency preparedness projects and overseeing grant-funded initiatives. Notable experience also includes work as an Emergency Planner for the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management, where Sarah coordinated citywide emergency plans and served as a 24/7 Duty Officer. Prior to these roles, Sarah gained valuable experience as an intern with the County of San Diego and as a student manager at UC San Diego, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.
