Vincent McCoy has extensive experience in small business development and economic support. Currently serving in the Office of Economic Development at the City of Berkeley since May 2023, Vincent previously held the position of Director at the Cal State East Bay Small Business Development Center from April 2022 to June 2023, focusing on providing technical assistance to small businesses. Earlier roles include Principal at Luvicent, Inc., and Lecturer at the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship. Vincent also served as Director of the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center for 18 years, effectively transitioning it to meet cash match requirements and fostering community partnerships. Additional teaching experience was gained as an Adjunct Faculty at Victor Valley College, alongside prior roles in business management and software training within the biotechnology sector. Vincent holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Marketing from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting from California State University - East Bay and California State University, Fresno.
