David Schirmer is the current CIO at the City of Beverly Hills. David has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. David started their career at Southern California Edison as a GIS Site Coordinator. David then moved to the Natural Theirtory Museum of Los Angeles County, where they served as the Geographic Information Systems Site Coordinator. In 1999, they joined NetChemistry as a Senior Project Manager. David has been with the City of Beverly Hills since 2001.
David Schirmer has a Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography / GIS from the University of California, Los Angeles.
David Schirmer works with Ryan Gohlich - Director of Community Development, Keith Sterling - CCO, and Shelley Ovrom - Director of Human Resources. Their manager is George Chavez, City Manager.
