Keith Sterling has over 15 years of experience in the communications field. Keith has worked as a television news anchor/reporter, account executive, public information officer, and director of communications. Keith is currently the CCO at the City of Beverly Hills.
Keith began their career in 1996 as a television news anchor/reporter for WPDE-TV • WVII-TV • KTVO-TV. Keith then worked as an account executive for Crosby-Wright from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, Keith became the director of communications for the City of Broken Arrow. Keith held this position until 2009 when they became the public information officer for the City of Burbank. Keith left the City of Burbank in 2012 to become the director of communications for the University of Utah. Keith held this position for two years before becoming the communications manager for the City of Santa Cruz in 2014. Keith left the City of Santa Cruz in 2015 to become the director of communications & public information for Anaheim Elementary School District where they worked until 2018. Keith has been with the City of Beverly Hills since 2018 and is currently the CCO.
Keith Sterling completed a BA in Journalism from Ithaca College.
They are on a team with Mark G. Stainbrook - Chief of Police, Gabriella Yap - Deputy City Manager, and Shana Epstein - Director of Public Works. Keith Sterling reports to George Chavez, City Manager.
