Katie Schafer

Katie Schafer currently serves as a City Commissioner for the City of Birmingham, Michigan, a position held since November 2021. In addition to this role, Katie has been a Pediatrician at Bloom Pediatrics since January 2014 and previously worked as a Pediatrician at Mali & Mali Pediatrics from August 2010 to December 2013. Katie earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine between 2003 and 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, obtained from 1998 to 2002.
