Dan Guthrie

Dan Guthrie has extensive experience in recreation management, currently serving as the Recreation Superintendent and General Manager of Recreation Operations for the City of Blue Ash since April 1997. Responsibilities include hiring, supervising, training, and guiding full-time staff across various areas such as events, programming, facilities, fitness, aquatics, and food and beverage operations. Prior roles include Facility Manager, where Dan managed a 120,000 square foot recreation facility, and Programming Supervisor, overseeing a supervisory staff for multiple recreational areas. Dan also held positions as Fitness and Aquatics Coordinator, handling equipment and program management, and various roles at Rowing and Fitness Center. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies from Northern Kentucky University and an Associate of Applied Science in Health and Fitness Technology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
