Josh Thygesen has extensive experience in recreation management and program supervision, currently serving as Recreation Superintendent for the City of Roseville, MN, since November 2020. In this role, Josh oversees staff, leads recreation programs, and ensures safe facility operations. Previously, as Community Recreation Coordinator for the Red Wing School District, Josh developed and evaluated diverse programming for all age groups while managing the Red Wing Water Park and outdoor rinks. Additional roles include Program Coordinator at Positive Alternatives Inc., High School Representative at Argosy University, and multiple positions at the Red Wing YMCA, where Josh directed youth development programs and collaborated with community organizations. Josh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health & Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
