Dana Powers has extensive experience in law enforcement and coaching, serving as the Chief of Police for the City of Bonney Lake since June 1992, where previous roles included Police Officer, Sergeant, and Assistant Chief. Prior to the current position, Dana worked as a Police Officer in Tacoma and began a career in law enforcement as a Correctional Officer in Kent. In addition to law enforcement duties, Dana has been the Head Swim Coach at Sumner High School since August 2009. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtained between 1983 and 1987.
