Kat Freeman

Kat Freeman is an experienced professional specializing in homelessness intervention and management information systems. Currently serving as a CoC & HMIS Trainer and Capacity Builder for the City of Boston since December 2020, responsibilities include e-learning training development, management of Learning Management Systems, and HMIS policy and procedure formulation. As the Principal/Lead Consultant at HomeFire Training and Consulting, Inc. from January 2019, notable projects involve ongoing collaboration with the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention of Greater Indianapolis to create new onboarding courses. Previous roles include evaluating HMIS implementation for the City of Springfield, managing homeless programs at The Cloudburst Group, and overseeing HMIS at the Maine State Housing Authority. Kat Freeman holds a Master of Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from the University of Maine Augusta.
