Michael Osaghae is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Associate Press Secretary for Mayor Michelle Wu in the City of Boston since November 2021, having previously held the role of Communications Associate in the same office. Michael was the Campaign Manager for Henry Santana for Boston City Council At-Large from September to November 2023 and worked as a Press Assistant during the Michelle Wu for Mayor campaign from September to November 2021. Prior to these roles, Michael served as an Economic Development Researcher at DowntownDC BID and held positions as a Communications and Organizing Intern during the early stages of the Wu campaign. Michael's leadership experience includes serving as Student Body President at Boston College, where management of a large organization and collaboration with university administrators occurred. Educationally, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and African and African Diaspora Studies from Boston College in 2020.
