Andrea Magana

Andrea Magana is a seasoned communications professional with a strong background in public relations and marketing. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Communications for the City of Brampton since May 2019, Andrea has also held various roles within the organization, including Communications Liaison Coordinator and Communications Specialist for Strategic Communications. Prior experience includes positions at Starbucks as a Barista from February 2013 to January 2020 and at Downtown Brampton BIA, where Andrea worked as an Events and Marketing Specialist, Special Projects Coordinator, and Public Relations and Marketing Intern from May 2016 to May 2019. Andrea holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies and a Diploma in Media Communications from the University of Guelph-Humber, completed in 2017, with a focus on Public Relations.
