Gurleen Tak is an experienced professional in the fields of policy analysis and privacy research, currently serving as a Portfolio Analyst for the City of Brampton since October 2024. Prior to this, Gurleen worked at TrustArc as both a Privacy Knowledge Researcher and a Privacy Research Analyst from October 2020 to October 2024. Additionally, Gurleen was a Junior Academic Affiliate with the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security and Society (TSAS) from January 2020 to October 2024 and worked for the Federal Government of Canada from May 2018 to October 2020. Early career experience includes a summer internship at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from June 2015 to August 2017. Gurleen holds a Public Leadership degree from Harvard Kennedy School (2020-2021), a Master’s in International Public Policy from Balsillie School of International Affairs (2019-2020), and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from York University (2015-2019).
