Brian Hutchings is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in public administration and higher education management. Currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Brantford since August 2019, Brian oversees the city's daily operations and ensures alignment with Council policies. Prior to this role, Brian was the Vice President of Administration at Brock University, where responsibilities included financial management of a $300 million organization and oversight of various administrative services. Brian also held senior positions with the Niagara Region, including Acting President and Commissioner of Corporate Services, contributing to social services and corporate management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto and a Chartered Director designation from The Directors College at McMaster University.
