Sean Walsh

Sean Walsh is an experienced forestry professional with a diverse background in forest management and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as Forestry Manager and Forestry Service Lead at the City of Bremerton since January 2022, Sean previously held key positions at Rayonier as a Forest Engineer and Resource Forester, and at Pope Resources LP as a Forester 1. Additional experience includes a role as a Forester at Fruit Growers Supply Company and as the Department of Recreational Sports Student Sustainability Coordinator at Oregon State University, where important sustainability programs were developed and implemented. Sean's early career involved research assistance focused on inventory data collection and species identification. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from Oregon State University.
