Gabe Bolton

Gabriel Bolton is an experienced forestry professional with a robust background in forest management certification services. Since October 2018, Gabriel has served as a Senior Technical Advisor at Preferred by Nature, overseeing global policies, quality monitoring, and training while managing the forest management certification services and ensuring compliance with NEPCon’s standards. Prior to this role, Gabriel was a Senior Forest Management Specialist at Rainforest Alliance from May 2006 to September 2018, where responsibilities mirrored those at Preferred by Nature, focusing on audit management and stakeholder engagement. Gabriel's foundational forestry career includes positions as a Forester at Wagner Forest Management, Inventory Forester at James W. Sewall Company, and Forester at the U.S. Forest Service. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Vermont, earned in 1995.
