Sandy Quinonez

Sandy Quinonez is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as Treasurer for the Bridgeport Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #46 since November 2021, and as Commander of the Bridgeport Police Honor Guard since May 2022. With over 20 years of commitment to the Honor Guard, Sandy leads a unit that provides essential services for various ceremonial events. Additionally, Sandy is a member of the Board of Directors at Honor Wellness Center, focusing on mental health care for first responders and their families. Since 2002, Sandy has held multiple roles within Bridgeport Police, including First Responders School Coordinator and Arrest and Control Instructor, while also serving as an Explorers Advisor. Sandy previously taught Constitutional Law at Bridgeport Military Academy and held the position of Senior Executive Director of Security at Macy's East from 1997 to 2002. Education includes an Associate's degree in Special Education from Housatonic College, completed in 1997, and a diploma from Notre Dame High School, earned in 1993.
