Laura Morris, M Ed, SPHR, serves as the Risk Manager for the City of Brighton since July 2012, overseeing risk management functions including safety, loss prevention, and insurance analysis. Previous roles include HR Analyst II and Human Resource Consultant, with expertise in employee relations, compensation, and training. Laura also directed human resources at Sunrise Community Health and held positions at SAFEWAY CORPORATION and Salud Family Health Centers, specializing in employee relations and staffing. Starting as a Store Manager at Kmart Corporation, Laura has developed extensive experience in organizational performance, backed by a Master's degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of South Dakota.
