Carolina Yuen

Carolina Yuen has a diverse work experience spanning various finance and accounting roles. Carolina started their career as a Senior Auditor at O'Rourke Sacher & Moulton, where they performed audits for financial institutions. Carolina then worked as an Accounting Manager at San Francisco Fire Credit Union, where they developed metrics and implemented financial operational components.

Carolina later served as the Interim Controller at eHealth Contracts, managing the general ledger, financial reporting, and office administration functions. Carolina also worked as a Senior Accountant at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they conducted general ledger responsibilities and was involved in process engineering and improvement.

Carolina then joined Oncology Therapeutics Network as a Financial Analyst and Business Analyst, supporting various teams with financial analysis and contract compliance reviews. Carolina also developed automated financial reports and acted as a resident expert for business and competitive intelligence.

Carolina's experience also includes roles at The Siegfried Group as a Senior Manager, providing financial assistance to Fortune 500 companies, and at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation as an Assistant Controller, managing general ledger and financial functions.

In their most recent roles, Carolina worked for the City of Millbrae and the City of Brisbane, California. At the City of Millbrae, they served as a Financial Services Manager and acted as an interim manager, overseeing accounts payable, utility billing, and general financial services. At the City of Brisbane, they held the positions of Financial Services Manager, Deputy Finance Director, and currently Finance Director. In these positions, they managed finance and IT operations, developed accounting policies and procedures, and ensured timely reporting and compliance at local, state, and federal levels.

Carolina Yuen brings extensive experience in finance and accounting, process engineering, and management to their current role as Finance Director with the City of Brisbane.

Carolina Yuen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University. Carolina also holds additional certifications including CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) from AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) from the California Board of Accountancy.
