Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith is an experienced financial executive and board member. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at North Bristol NHS Trust since July 2023, and as a Trustee/Treasurer for Frank Water since August 2021. In addition, Shawn operates as a Governor and member of the Audit Committee at City of Bristol College since May 2021, and as a Committee Member on the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee at Elim Housing Association since the same year. Previously, Shawn held the position of Chief Financial Officer for European Operations at Magellan Aerospace from April 2005 to November 2019, overseeing significant operations across multiple countries with a turnover of approximately £200 million. Other roles include Finance Director at iSky Europe and Financial Accountant at Radford Retail Systems. Shawn earned a BA in Economics from the University of Wolverhampton between 1985 and 1988.
