Armando Gutierrez Jr. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in public works and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Public Works for the City of Brownsville, Texas since September 2019, Armando has held various leadership roles including Manager at A Gutierrez Engineering, PLLC, and Public Works Director for the City of Port Arthur and City of South Padre Island. With a career spanning several years, Armando has also contributed to organizations such as Guzman & Munoz Engineering & Surveying and the City of Corpus Christi, demonstrating a strong background in project management and engineering services. Armando earned education from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas-Pan American.
