Dafne Maldonado

Dafne Maldonado has a diverse work experience. Dafne currently holds the position of Director of Convention & Visitor's Bureau and Office of Space Commerce at the City of Brownsville, Texas since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Valley Baptist Health System starting from December 2021. In 2020, they served as the Executive Director of the San Benito Chamber of Commerce. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Office Administrator at VALDEZ GARZA LAW FIRM, P.C. and from 2016 to 2018, they served as the Executive Director of the Cameron County Bar Association.

Dafne Maldonado attended the University of Texas at Brownsville from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Digital Marketing Foundations, Become a Project Management Entrepreneur, and Content Marketing: Ways to Repurpose Video Content, all from LinkedIn, in September and August of 2022.
