Jim Ladner is a seasoned business owner and planning and zoning commissioner with extensive experience in the construction and materials industry. Since January 2015, Jim has operated Buda Materials LLC, while also serving as a planning and zoning commissioner for the City of Buda, TX since February 2022. Prior to these roles, Jim was a shareholder and sales manager at Five Star Concrete, Inc. from March 2010 to April 2020, and a senior sales representative at TXI from November 1998 to July 2009, focusing on the concrete, aggregate, and cement divisions. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Christian University, obtained between 1991 and 1995.
