Matthew Wright is currently a member of the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies Advisory Council at Texas State University. In addition, Matthew also serves as the Human Resources Director for the City of Buda. Previously, Matthew held various positions at the Austin Police Department, including Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, Police Detective/Corporal, and Patrol Officer. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies and a Certificate in Certified Public Management® from Texas State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
