Jack S Garcia

Jack S Garcia serves as the Director of Public Safety for the City of Burbank since October 2021. Prior to this role, Jack held significant positions such as Executive Director of the Illinois State Police Merit Board from April 2017 to September 2021 and Chief of Investigations at the Cook County States Attorney's Office from January 2012 to April 2017. Jack's extensive law enforcement career includes serving as First Deputy Director at the Illinois State Police before retirement in January 2012, and previous roles as a Colonel in both the Illinois State Police Internal Investigations and Forensics units. Jack's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Benedictine University, along with sessions at the FBI National Command College and Northwestern University.
