David McGuire

David McGuire, MSCJ, AEM, serves as the Director of Public Safety and Emergency Management at Goshen Health since June 2015. Prior to this role, David worked as a District Coordinator for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, overseeing several counties in northern Indiana from June 2010 to June 2015. David's extensive law enforcement experience includes serving as a Captain at the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department from May 1991 to November 2007, and as a Staff Sergeant and USACIDC Special Agent in the US Army from April 1983 to August 1990. Academically, David holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Trine University-South Bend Regional Campus and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Tri-State University.
