Kevin Schilling

Kevin Schilling, M.A., M.Sc. serves as the Mayor of the City of Burien since December 2019, presiding over the City Council and collaborating with city officials to shape the municipal agenda. Schilling successfully led the passage of a minimum wage increase benefiting local workers and businesses. Elected as a Burien City Councilmember in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 with record margins, Schilling has also held the role of Deputy Mayor and has served as Director of Advocacy for the Washington State Dental Association. Previous experience includes positions such as Political Director for People for Derek Kilmer, Pastoral Assistant for Youth Ministry, and various roles in political campaigns and educational institutions. Kevin Schilling's educational background includes advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School, The London School of Economics, and Columbia University, alongside ongoing executive education.
