Kai Okazaki

Kai O. is a seasoned social planner with extensive experience in community and regional planning. Currently serving as Social Planner II for the City of Burnaby since August 2021, Kai O. specializes in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Interculturalism, and Poverty Reduction, contributing to the city's Official Community Plan. Previously, Kai O. held roles such as Social Planner I in the City of Burnaby, focusing on homelessness and civic engagement, and Regional Social Planner for the City of Powell River, addressing housing and social cohesion.
