Burnsville lies on a bluff overlooking the south bank of the Minnesota River upstream from its confluence with the Mississippi River. We are the ninth largest suburb in the metro area and a commuter’s dream with easy access to Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Burnsville is a connected community providing a variety of services, experiences, housing options, unique shops and restaurants, 76 parks, miles of trails and popular venues including Buck Hill and Ames Performing Arts Center. Plus, Burnsville Transit Station serves as a hub for Metro Transit and the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority. We are a community where people feel safe and welcome to be themselves, visitors find a place they want to come back to again and again, businesses are positioned for success and our team finds meaningful work and opportunities to grow. We believe in creating great experiences for staff so they can do the same for our community.
