Anthony Bourque

Anthony Bourque is an experienced professional in innovation design and social research, currently serving as an Innovation Designer for the City of Calgary since December 2024. Prior to this role, Bourque held positions at Skills Society as the Director and Senior Leader of Research and Social Innovation and contributed to projects at Vivo for Healthier Generations, where efforts were focused on social infrastructure and public health research. Additional experience includes co-owning Project: Play, providing unique events promoting children's development, and working as a Group Exercise Instructor at Orangetheory Fitness. Bourque's background in education features a Master of Arts in Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's in Kinesiology from the same institution, complemented by a Journeyman Electrician designation from NAIT.
