Ryan Stevens

Ryan Stevens serves as the City Administrator for the City of Cañon City since June 2017, providing leadership for a team of 13 directors and overseeing a budget exceeding $60 million. Previously, Ryan held the role of Economic Development Director, where the establishment of the position led to significant community growth through business attraction strategies. Before joining Cañon City, Ryan was the Executive Director at La Junta Economic Development, focusing on job creation and business retention. An extensive background in business development commenced at CEB's SHL Talent Measurement Solutions, where Ryan managed sales across the Mountain West region and held various roles that emphasized client services and account management. Ryan's early career included positions in hospitality management, including Revenue Manager at the Brown Palace Hotel. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, a Master of Science in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business & Marketing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
