Abigail Trout currently serves as the Resilience Planning and Services Manager for the City of Cape Canaveral, a position held since September 2024, focused on developing and implementing resiliency initiatives. Prior to this role, Abigail worked as a Sustainability Planner for the City of Titusville from July 2023 to September 2024, where responsibilities included managing the Sustainability Action Plan and overseeing grant-funded projects. Abigail's experience also includes serving as a City Planner for the City of Jacksonville from August 2021 to June 2023, assisting with land use amendments and environmental impact assessments. Previously, Abigail worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Analyst at the Florida Space Institute, conducting safety assessments at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. Abigail achieved a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Natural Resource Policy & Administration at the University of Florida.
