Richard Carr

Richard Carr currently serves as a City Council Member for the City of Cape Coral and as a Realtor at Palm Paradise Realty Group. Carr has a rich background in law enforcement, having held key positions such as Assistant Chief at the City of Naples Police Department and Captain at the Fort Myers Police Department, where responsibilities included overseeing police operations and various specialty units. Additionally, Carr was the Director of Professional Standards for the School District of Lee County, managing ethical and professional standards for over 13,000 employees. Their earlier experience includes managing the Code Compliance Division for the City of Cape Coral and completing training as a Special Agent with the FBI. Carr holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Barry University and has attended various executive training programs, including the FBI National Academy.
