Dan Presson

Dan Presson serves as the Assistant Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development at Southeast Missouri State University, a position held since May 2013, where oversight includes multiple departments and a push towards revenue generation through various programs. Previous roles at the university include Director of Career Services, where Dan managed a team and implemented various initiatives to bridge students with employers, as well as Coordinator of Employer Relations, achieving significant increases in employer utilization of university resources. Additionally, Dan is a City Council Representative for Ward 1 in Cape Girardeau, advocating for local workforce initiatives and participation in budget planning. Dan's professional journey includes roles in admissions, financial aid, and communications, supported by a BS in Mass Communications/Advertising and a Master's in Communication focused on Promotions and Marketing.
